Product Description The ATPG tripods feature all aluminum and stainless steel construction for weather-resistant outdoor and indoor use, pivoting flat/pointed feet that adjust to any terrain, and easy grip foam cushioned insulated legs. The ATPG has a geared Centerpost to easily raise and lower your camera. Black anodized finish and 2 section legs make this tripod durable and easy to set up. This tripod is designed to be used in harsh outdoor conditions. Specially designed rectangular closed channel legs are designed to work easily in muddiest conditions. ATPG has an adjustable Centerpost brace for grounder shooting or shooting at maximum height of 66 inches. The ATPG comes with our FM18 fluid head which has an 18 pound capacity. A heavy duty woven black tripod bag is included to help carry and protect your equipment. Powder-coated and anodized finishes to help resist abrasion under the heaviest use, combine with aircraft-quality aluminum and high-tech synthetics to create the best durability and portability.

| Customer Reviews: A decent sturdy tripod December 22, 2009 A. Khula (Ray, MI United States) Bought this a month ago. Put my own Bogen-Manfrotto 3038 ball head on it and it is solid as a rock with (sometimes 2 on a cross-bar) Canon dslr's on it. Not really very light but I don't hike much anymore but better than a steel tripod I borrowed once. The addition of the travel bag is a nice touch and the two padded legs and non slip feet are welcome in the cold. The ball head fits into the included travel bag without taking it off the tripod. The crank to raise the head took a little getting used to and the leg-out tightening device on the center column could be a bit bigger for my fingers but this tripod is still a big step up from my old Slik light duty tripod. I was going to buy a used Manfrotto tripod for about the same money but I'm satisified so far and and we all know...there nothin' that doesn't have some little thing we all don't like about any mechanical device.
I don't review everything I buy but this item needed at least one review.
