It collapses to only 18 inches yet still offers the unique Velbon 3-way fluid pan head combined with a right-tilting quick-release camera platform (including a retractable camcorder alignment pin).
The CX-444 also features lever leg locks and leg braces for greater stability. The center column is geared for easy height adjustments once the legs are in position. It is not superlight, but it does fit into many places standard tripods will not go.

I ordered one of these tripods and it did not have a leveling bubble as described. I was disappointed.

I got this particular tripod for one of my zoon cameras and it is a good sturdy tripod that does not have the "loosening effect" of the swivel head like most tripods.
