After seeking out the Benbro multi functional tripod, I came across the Benro! I needed a pod for doing small commericial shots where the legs would not get in the way, so I knew the Benbro was what I was looking for, being able to use the horizontal crossbar to shoot down. I was not aware of the Benro until I Googled Benbro and saw this one listed. After reading reviews on this pod and seeing the price, I decided to chance it and I am so pleased that I did. THIS IS ONE GREAT TRIPOD!!! Its design is geared, I think, for advanced to pro use. Of course anyone will benefit from using it. It is solid, very portable, and can be configured to a multitude of positions. My fav feature is the center column can be set horizontally for a variety of setups. Fully extende it stands about 5'10" before raising the center column. To use fully extended you need a small ladder unless you are 6'10" tall. I highly recomend this amazingly priced pro grade tripod.
