Quality of this tripod is superb. It feels sturdy without being overly heavy. It is great that it has interchangeable rubber feet and ground spikes. A plus when you need to take it on an airplane. You can leave the spikes at home minimizing your chance of being further delayed. I have only played with this toy at home on a snowy day. Feild tests may ferret out some shortcomings, but I'm giving it a 5 star with my first impression and utilization.
